I was first introduced to Frank Gaumond in 1986 by the Heald Machine Company, as a Service Technician. At that time, as a Process Engineer with 18 years of service with General Motors, I had purchased a used No. 2 EF Cinternal ID Grinder. This machine was the first to replace Heald 281 ID Grinders in our Perfex Aerospace Department at New Departure-Hyatt Division of GM. Frank was instrumental in introducing the concepts of CNC Grinding, assisting me in application.

Subsequently, two more sophisticated EF Cinternals, with B-Axis capability were purchased, as a result of the initial success in revolutionizing the process of manufacturing Gearbox Bearings for the Allison T-56 Turboprop Engine used in the military C-130 Hercules.

Since 1994, as a Senior Project Manager and Engineering Fellow with RBC, I had acquired these three machines from GM and successfully applied them within RBC. With the closing of Heald Machine Company, in the 1990 decade, I have relied on Frank G. and his capable team at MRSE as a primary source of remanufactured CNC Grinders, with improved Technology and innovations for multiple RBC Divisions, with excellent success, for the last 30 years.
